What if I told you this wine acts a lot like Cabernet Sauvignon with a new world feel but there isn’t a drop of Cab in the wine. It’s TRUE! I was blown away by this wine. I thought it was a Cab, Sangiovese, Merlot blend like you see a lot in Italy. As it turns out, the wine is from a really small growing region in the Northern part of Italy and shows notes of ripe dark fruit, tobacco leaf and spice. All things you can find in Cabernet. Anyways, I brought this wine in for folks who love a good cab but are looking for something exciting, new and hard to find.
