The bubbles and natural acidity will cut through the heavy nature of the dish while the brioche and citrus notes will complement the richness of the cheese and the fall flavors of the vegetables. 2018 Kaena Albarino “La Presa Vyd” Sta. Ynez Valley, Ca $19.99 Miso Marinaded Scallops Kaena’s Albarino is a shining example of the amazing non-traditional varietals coming out of the central coast. This wine will balance out the rich, toasty-umami notes and play off the citrusy ponzu. The minerality and acidity of this wine paired with the tropical fruit notes will bring the dish together and leave you wanting more. 2016 Spy Valley Pinot Noir Handpicked-Single Estate Marlborough, New Zealand $21.99 Duck Confit This single estate Pinot Noir is a great pairing for this fall-inspired duck confit. There’s plenty of red fruit mixed in with notes of darker fruit and fall spices all hugged by a touch of toasty oak. This wine needs to open in the glass for about 15-20 minutes before drinking. This is our choice for single bottle red wine. 2017 Et Cetera Chardonnay California $18.99 French Macaroni & Cheese This is such a yummy wine. Rich mouthfeel with buttery notes and a kiss of oak mingling with bright fruit and just the right amount of acidity. This wine pairs nicely with something decadent like Mac & Cheese. It’ll enhance the rich, round notes of the dish while balancing everything so we get harmony in every bite. This is our choice for single bottle white wine. Order your Wonderful Wednesday Dinner here!
